Bermuda Tattoo Festival

Last month the historic Keep Yard at the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda was brought to life with 400 musicians, singers and other performers. Ten exceptional overseas units participated and Bermuda was represented by the Band and Corps of Drums of the Bermuda Regiment, the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band and, for the first time, The Bermuda Tattoo Choir. The performances, completed with artillery guns and fireworks, were a showcase celebrating the best of Bermuda and their culture in this the 50th year of the formation of the Bermuda Regiment.

Seating Solutions was there once again to provide stadium seating for this event. This year we provided two units of our safety code compliant Ultimate seating systems, with blue flip-up style seats. The first unit contained 18 VIP flip-up seats with black seat covers and armrests.  This unit held the camera platform in the rear of the stand.  The second system contained an ADA platform area to hold wheelchairs and companion seats with access via an ADA chair lift.

Both systems were elevated four feet from grade ensuring each fan had an unobstructed view while providing an under-stand walkway. Our systems were custom built to include vomitories through the under-stand that lead to aisles within the system allowing fans to enter and exit safely and efficiently. For additional safety, a full picket rail package, mid- aisle handrails and contrasting aisle nosing were added.  To complete the look and ensure guests safety we finished the perimeter and under-stand walkways with blue scrim.

We look forward to being at the Tattoo Festival in Bermuda again next year! For more info visit :
